       Chairman              Ms. Maria Robinson
       Treasurer              Mr. David Clark
       Secretary              Mr. Nathaniel Andrew

We are members of  Rotary  International based in Eganville Ontario Canada raising funds for humanitarian causes  both in our community and globally.  We are a registered charity regulated by Canada Revenue Agency.

Our
goal is to relieve poverty and suffering by offering a hand-up to those in immediate need and to  assist in the building of a safe and  healthy community.  At home we support  local food banks and meals on wheels for seniors.  We provide financial assistance to individuals in immediate need who require health services or medical devices not covered by traditional sources.

We support international projects and as Rotarians, we donate [as individuals] to "The Rotary Foundation Canada".   This is a federally chartered corporation and Canadian registered charity supported solely by voluntary donations by Rotarians and friends of the foundation who share its vision for a better world.  The mission of this charity is to enable Rotarians  to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.

Since 1985 Rotary has been working diligently to eradicate polio in the world through a program called PolioPlus.  We are almost there.  In the far-flung corners of the world there are still a few stubborn cases. PolioPlus will continue until it can be said to the whole world," Polio Is eradicated!"

One International project was to build a viable healthcare structure in the Mukuru slum of Nairobi Kenya.  Being a multi-year project, funds were provided to the Imara Healthcare Centre to upgrade and improve the building, provide beds and bedding for the clinic, provide operating room equipment with the goal of getting the clinic government funded and self-sufficient.  Community healthcare outreach teams were also trained and outfitted to bring education and medical aid out to the outlying community.

The Imara Healthcare Centre  has reached  sustainability.  A new project was undertaken in the Mukuru Slums.  The Siloam School project helped to provide a safe and secure learning environment to the poor children who would otherwise just be 'hanging around' if they didn't have the schooling option.  One of the unfortunate issues facing the female adolescent  student is shaming and embarrassment that happens during menses.  This is due to lack of the understanding of basic biology and/or the lack of money to by sanitary supplies.  The other issue these students face is sexual violence.   The Siloam School project helped to fund:
-  materials, techniques and training to produce sanitary paraphernalia at no or low cost
- improve  safety and security by improving the toilet and change area of the school
- train community health workers to go into the school to provide health instruction to the students
- provide education to students about normal social behaviours about sexual assault and its prevention

Now that the sanitation and Menstrual Health Education Phase is successfully completed,  Eganville Rotary has partnered with another NGO to present an anti-bullying and sexual assault prevention education program at the Siloam Kware school.  This will be the last phase that we hope to complete in   2021-22
